I graduated from the University of Illinois and
became director of product marketing and
subscription sales for Playboy magazine. I leaned
a tremendous amount at Playboy, although I can’t
say I met too many bunnies.
In 1980 I went out on my own and founded JSR
Advertising Corporation, a full-service, vertical
agency providing clients with strategic planning,
research, creative services, including design,
photography and copywriting, and print production
and media services.
My clients over the years included Aegon,
FirstCard, GE, Honda, JC Penney, Random House,
RCA, Sears, Sony, Walt Disney and Wards.
I have been responsible for creating and
printing over 200 million inserts and mailings
targeted at oil company and bank credit card
holders. I have designed and executed marketing
campaigns for all kinds of companies, large and
small.
For PricewaterhouseCoopers, I developed an
individualized financial and retirement planning
program for the City of Chicago's 45,000
teachers.
For J P Morgan Chase Bank and the Spanish
Broadcasting System, I developed and implemented a
mortgage sales program nationwide for the Hispanic
community.
I worked with Merrill Lynch and the GMAC Bank
to provide brokerage services to General Motors'
250,000 employees and 3 million retirees.
Since 2000, I have been consulting for clients
as varied as the Internet Dental Alliance and
Fisher Investments, a portfolio management firm
for high net worth individuals. |
